What a great news for Japan lovers ! Go-AirAsia has first shown its interest in this destination Japan since January 2010, where we have posted about the AirAsia X CEO return from Tokyo upon discussion with Japan authority on the possibility of AirAsia X fly to Tokyo.

Today, if you notice, AirAsia has officially placed some sort of indication in their website that, they will fly Tokyo soon. In the Moshi Moshi Japan! page you can Discover Japan with AirAsia X and Secure your seat today and sign up for the latest updates!

Unlike other premier airlines, AirAsia X are expected to fly direct to Tokyo’s Haneda airport(Haneda airport is located 14 km south of Tokyo Station)instead of the Narita International Airport. Eventhough AirAsia X havent announce yet on the fare, but many said one-way tickets between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo for as low as 14,000 yen.

The flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Tokyo’s Haneda airportwill begin at a pace of three per week. The flights are expected to use Airbus SAS’ A330 aircraft. The Japanese government has already allotted landing and takeoff slots to AirAsia X at Haneda.

  2. On the flight booking page I see Haneda but when I make a booking it says something like ‘fully booked.’ It kind of hard to believe because it says the same thing for all the dates, right up to late December.
Am I right in assuming that the flights are not ready yet?
I want to fly from Tokyo to KL in December.
    Thanks
