Have you ever experience online booking at AirAsia.com ? Let me share some experience which for me very cool, easy and fun.

There are 5 easy steps that you have to follows to book your flight(s) online. Don’t worry if you are the first timer, as the step-by-step process below will help you to complete your first booking in airasia.com.

Step-by-step Booking Process

STEP 1 – Search

a) Select your Departing & Arriving cities from the drop-down tab.

b) If you are booking for a one-way trip, click on the “One-way only” checkbox. Otherwise, the system automatically selects “Return” as the default.

c) Select your Departing & Return dates from the drop-down tab or calendar.

d) Select the number of guests (maximum 9) & infants (if any, maximum 4) from the drop-down menu. The system automatically selects one as the default number of guests. If you are booking for only one guest, you can skip this step.

e) Click on “Search” to go to the next step.

STEP 2 – Select

Available flights will be displayed with the fare & travel time. Select your prefered flight & time on the left hand side of the table by clicking on the flight number. If you wish to make changes, update the flight time and date at the section above.

b) For more information on the flight you’ve selected, click on “Fare Rules” at the bottom of the page.

c) The flight(s) you have selected along with the cost breakdown will be displayed on the right panel of the screen. Please review carefully.

d) If you have registered as a member, enter your User ID & Password here, to speed up your purchase process. (Optional)

e) If the selected flight details are acceptable, click on the checkbox to accept our Terms & Conditions of Carriage & Fares Rules.

Please select “No” if you do not have special needs. Click “Continue” to the proceed to the next step.

STEP 3 – Guest & Contact

a) Please fill in your Contact details.

b) If you click on the checkbox “Retain details for my next visit“, the system will create a “cookie” to store
your Contact Information, so you will not need to enter it again the next time you book.

If you check the box on “Sign me up! …..”, we will send you updates on our services & promotions
regularly to keep you updated.

c) Register as an AirAsia member to enjoy greater convenience and benefits. You can manage all your bookings from one place, have your details automatically saved and enjoy
member savings as an AirAsia member.

d) Please enter your Personal Details [name as it appears in your Identity Card (Malaysians) or Passport] in the corresponding text boxes. e) Then fill in the passport details & select services to be included in your itinerary.

f) Continue to fill in the rest of your guest details by clicking on the name of the guest on the left hand
side of the table. (for booking more than 1 person)

g) To choose your seat, select “Pick A Seat“.

h) Select your seat by clicking on it.

i) Continue selecting seats for your travel party by clicking on the name of the guest on the left hand
panel. (for booking more than 1 person)

j) Click on the tab headers (on the left) to switch between flights. Make sure all seats are selected then
click “Confirm & Continue” to proceed.

k) Please check the selected seats for each guests and click “Confirm & Continue” to proceed

STEP 4 : PAYMENT

a) If you would like to purchse AirAsia GoInsure Travel Protection, click ”OK” to proceed.

If you understand, accept & agree with the Declarations & Authorisations of the Insurance Application & the Terms & Conditions of the policy, click on the checkbox to continue.

If you do not wish to purchase AirAsia GoInsure Travel Protection, click “Cancel” on the right panel.

b) You have almost completed the booking process. Please verify the total price of your flight(s)

Then, select your payment method:

Credit Card

• To pay with your credit card, please enter your credit card details on this screen.
• Enter your billing address and ensure that it matches the billing address of your credit card.
• Please double check if the final amount and guest names are correct. Then, click “Pay” to make the payment.
• It may take up to 45 seconds to process the transaction, so please be patient. If your payment is successful, your Flight Itinerary will automatically appear on the next screen.

DIrect Debit

• To pay via direct debit, please choose the “Direct Debit” tab. Then select your preferred Bank for the direct debit payment.
• The welcome screen of your preferred Bank will pop-up as a separate window. Please login
  to your account to proceed with payment.
• 
• Select the account which you would like to perform the transaction from.
• Confirm your payment details by clicking “Next”.
• Key in your IC or Passport No. for verification.
• Click “Confirm”to proceed with the direct debit transaction.
• Please ensure you print your payment details for future reference before you log out.

E-gift voucher

• To pay with E-Gift Voucher, please key-in your E-Gift Voucher Number & password. If you have more than one E-Gift Voucher, click “+” to add the second voucher.
• Key-in your second E-Gift Voucher number & password.  For the balance of the payment, you may pay via Credit Card. Click on the “Credit Card” tab to proceed.
• Please enter your credit card details on this screen.
• Enter your billing address and ensure that it matches the billing address of your credit card.
• Please double check if the final amount and guest names are correct. Then, click “Pay” to make the payment. It may take up to 45 seconds to process the transaction, so please be patient. If your transaction is  successful, your Flight Itinerary will automatically appear on the next screen.

STEP 5 : ITINERARY

a) Once the payment has been processed, your Flight Itinerary will be displayed on the screen and  sent to your email.

For check-in, please provide the Booking Number on the Flight Itinerary with your Identity Card
(Malaysians only) or Passport to receive the boarding pass for your flight.
